| Welcome to Downtown Houndz. I'm glad you're here! My love for the racing greyhound spilled over into the birth of my business! Sewing and fabrics are one of my passions so it seemed to be a natural progression of things. I carefully choose fabrics and patterns with the beauty and comfort of the sight-hound in mind. All of my sleep shirts, jammies, and coats are lovingly and carefully hand-made by me. We wear beautiful coats, why shouldn't our houndz ! My blanket sleepers offer warmth for your hound when it is chilly in the house or cold outside. They are like wrapping a warm blanket around your hound. They come in fleece and flannel with many adorable and fun patterns ! Sleep shirts are a new addition to my sleep wear. They can be made of fleece, cotton lycra knit and now introducing thermal fabric, like long john's for you hound! Rain coats are made from a three layer breathable water proof fabric with a color co-ordinated flannel lining. Matching rain snoods come with the coat and have an adjustable cord to snug around the face. In the Meet & Greet section you will find my new line of mats designed with the comfort of you hound to lay on while at an event or on the road. Donation Hound jackets will be making a spring appearance! I strongly support greyhound adoption and give when and wherever I can. I have donated coats and jammies to many fine adoption groups for their fund raising events. There are too many wonderful dogs just waiting for a chance to love and camp out on your couch! If you are reading this, you probably already have a grey and know the love they give. If you don't, I strongly urge you to consider giving a home to one of these wonderful dogs! It's a decision that you will NEVER regret! |
